Parenting isn’t always intuitive, especially when your child is struggling. I know how easy it can be to feel like you’re failing, even when you’re doing your absolute best. You might feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or unsure how to support your child (or yourself) in a world that doesn’t always make it easy.

That’s where I come in. For more than 20 years, I’ve supported children, parents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Ph.D. in Education from Queen’s University, a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, and a Master’s in Buddhist Studies.

I help families with many different needs, whether it’s a child struggling with anxiety, a parent looking for effective behavioural strategies, or a couple trying to reconnect after the stress of parenting. My approach embraces the whole family unit, because healing and growth don’t happen in isolation.

I bring over two decades of experience to my work, shaped by time spent as an in-school mental health counsellor and through specialized training. This includes Trauma-Focused CBT for children and adolescents, self-regulation interventions, ADHD and Autism supports, infant and early childhood mental health, and the treatment of anxiety and panic in youth.

Clients often tell me they feel calmer, more capable, and more connected, as individuals, as parents and as a family. You will leave our sessions with tools, insights, and the grounded feeling that comes from being truly supported.

More than just my work

Outside of sessions, I love early mornings with a strong cup of coffee and a quiet house, long nature walks with my dogs, scrolling Pinterest for interior design inspiration, and riding my bike in Prince Edward County.
